Be Like

BeLike was a project of love (or side project) I made when I was living back in Buenos Aires. I wanted to do something different and colourful, combining different skills. This project in particular is very special because it incorporates lettering, crafting, art direction and photography.

I created 5 posters where I used an analogy between the attributes of people and 5 different objects. With the idea that your attitude can be versatile and adaptable. Some days you can be sweet but some days you need to be clear and sharp. Because it is universal, everybody can relate to this project which is my favourite thing about it!

With this project I’ve been published in many creative online blogs and websites. It won GOLD on A' Design Award & Competition, it was published in the book Scripted - Custom lettering in Graphic Design and even a friend of mine saw it printed on a little girl’s t-shirt in Seoul 🙈!

Here are a few websites or blogs that have published BeLike:

Manana - Notebook Collection

BRIEF: Manana wanted to communicate the new collection of handmade notebooks made by different designers. They asked me and a fellow art director to create a beautiful and eye-catching campaign. IDEA: With the idea that every notebook had its own identity, we created a different world for each one, highlighting their individual attributes and unique design. We created the set from scratch, took the photos and retouched them to finally create five images that were used in several digital mediums.

Behind the Scenes

100 Golden Moments

This project started because I wanted to join the movement The 100 Day Project, which you can easily find on Instagram under the same hashtag. I wanted to combine several skills such as photography, art direction, set design and retouching to create a beautiful and colourful project. I also wanted it to be meaningful which is why every object was tied to a story from my childhood or my present life. You can find the project here!

I started this project back in Buenos Aires and, before moving to Canada, I left the objects in little corners and nooks around the city intending to leave a piece of me in that beautiful city that hosted me for almost 7 years.

Making of

The Main Stuff

BRIEF: The Main Stuff, a company from Buenos Aires that sells phone & computer cases, mugs and more, asked me to create a social media campaign to showcase their new designs. IDEA: Since the designs are all very colourful, I created a few sets by painting fruits and leaves all-white to convey a contrast of technology and nature, colour and light.

Set Design Workshop

Because of my love of set design and photography, I decided to sign up for an art direction/photography workshop, when I was living in Buenos Aires, with Josefina Mogrovejo. It was such a fun experience where we got to ideate and create a few sets while learning some lighting and photography techniques.
